About Spencer Memorial United Methodist Church

Our Philosophy

Our worship services are centered around Bible based messages that guide us in our Christian walk. We encourage you to spend time in reading the Bible each day as a part of your search for direction and instruction. 
In our Worship, we may use several translations of the Bible in order to get a better understanding of the meaning behind the Word. Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. We believe in sharing the joy of the gospels daily, and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.

Who We Are

Memorial United Methodist Church is a member church in the West Virginia Conference United Methodist Church. We are a part of the Little Kanawha District of the WVUMC and share in ministry with other United Methodist Churches in West Virginia. 
 It our hope and prayer that God will bless the churches and the surrounding communities.
